Teesdale Shed has been established to promote personal development, positive mental health and physical activities for the benefit of individuals from and in around Teesdale by providing a safe and happy environment where its members can make friendships and in the company of others:
Pursue hobbies, pastimes and interests.
Learn new skills, practice and pass on old skills.
Promote members health and well-being.
Promote the mentoring of younger members.
Teesdale Shed will meet fortnightly on a Thursday between 10am and 12 noon, the venue will be the TCR Hub, Barnard Castle. Members will also be able to become involved with community projects within the Teesdale district.
The current officers of Teesdale Shed are:

Mr. Peter Colley, Secretary
Dr. Richard Witham, Treasurer
Mr. Herb Payne, Membership Secretary
It is anticipated further officers will be co-opted onto the management committee as membership increases.
The membership fee payable on joining will be £10 and will cover the first six months of operation. The fee will be used towards paying for hire of facilities and insurance. The financial year for Teesdale Club will commence on January 1 st .
Additional charges, may apply for any materials provided at workshops and the member decides to retain the completed project.
